Carlo DellaValle, 83, of Northford, passed away peacefully at home Thursday, October 6, 2022 with his beloved children and close family by his side. Born in Maddaloni, Provincia Di Caserta, Italy on March 21, 1939; son of the late Andrea DellaValle and Rosa Savinelli DellaValle and loving husband of the late Vincenza DeAngelis DellaValle. Carlo adored his family and cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren. He had a deep passion for winemaking, gardening, cooking and enjoyed watching wrestling and western movies. Carlo was a skilled mason and served honorably in the Italian Army. He then immigrated with his family in 1973 and began his career working tirelessly with several local companies including: The Bigelow Factory, Textile Prints, and later for H.B. Ives until his retirement in 2008. Father of Rosa (Christopher) Harrison, Andrea (Penney) DellaValle and Carmine DellaValle. Grandfather of Adrianna DellaValle, Juliana Harrison, Taylor Harrison and Carlo DellaValle. Predeceased by siblings Antonio, Teresa and Filomena and survived by sisters Carmela, Gelsomina and Immacolata. Carlo is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and close friends. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to his dedicated and selfless hospice nurses: Sara, Mike and Michelle.

The visiting hours will be Tuesday morning, Oct. 11th from 9:30 to 11:30 at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 355 Foxon Road, East Haven at 12 noon. Entombment will follow in the All Saints Mausoleum.
