Although we knew this was coming, hard to not have her presence. Sharp, genuine, a leader, thoughtful, great dresser, and stickler for the rules-a quality I’ll work on in her honor. She’s missed already, and not only in her beloved Andy’s presence again, 💜 but also her bro, and my husband, both Domenic’s and other cherished fam and friends. Hugs and prayers Ho out to those she leaves behind. 😢
my condolences to the family. she was a very nice person when I was going to school in North haven. rest in peace till we meet again 🙏
The Lord just received a beautiful and very special angel.Grateful for the time our lives touched each other’s, Auntie. Xo
Mrs. Lucibello was my principal back in the 70s and 80s at Mill Road and Clintonville Elementary Schools. She was tough but fair and became a champion and protector when I needed it most, I will forever be grateful to her for all she did. Mrs. Lucibello also made us a promise to be there to celebrate our high school graduation. She made good in that promise and I have a vivid memory of her approaching while I was celebrating with my family, she was a class act for sure! May she now rest in peace.

My deepest sympathies to the Lucibello family she was a lovely lady and now she is a lovely angel
My deep condolences to Carmel’s family. I had the privilege of knowing her as one of her early student teachers and as professional colleague for many years. I have many wonderful memories of she and Andy and myself sharing great conversations about our role as educators . She was one of the best and most respected people I have known in my career. I treasure the memories.
Sending love and prayers!! May you one day find peace and comfort in the loving and happy memories you share.
Rest In Peace my precious Aunt Babe. You will always live in my heart.
Carmel and Andy and we were friends
over 60 years In CT, visits in Ohio, in
Cambridge, England, and in FL. We were
educators in different subjects. Carmel
was very caring, very bright, inventive,
and lots of fun. She will always be
Remembered.
Carmel was my first principal in 1969. She was a strong role model in every sense! She showed you your strengths, she made you aware of your weaknesses and how to improve them!
She was always well groomed and admired, many times giving Andy the credit! I taught under her at Center and Mill!
Her legacy will remain an important part of North Haven education!
