Carmella Teresa Vanacore, 70, of New Haven, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the Masonicare Health Center, Wallingford. Carmella was born in New Haven on December 28, 1947 and was the daughter of the late Michael and Carmela Esposito Vanacore. She had worked for Olin-Winchester and late for Watson Foods for many years until her retirement. Carmella enjoyed bowling and was an avid shopper. Sister of Michael C. Vanacore, Loretta Vanacore Pace, Florence D’Errico and the late Celeste Suffredini and James R. Vanacore. Also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Monday morning at 10:00. Family and friends may call from 9:00 until time of service. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
