Carmen Stellavato, 95, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Skyview Center, Wallingford. Carmen was born in New Haven on May 13, 1921; son of the late Lorenzo and Maria Ricciardelli Stellavato; served his country faithfully in the US Army during WW II and had worked for the US Postal Service for many years until his retirement. Brother of Frank (Barbara) Stellavato and the late Anthony Stellavato, Anna Manzione and Sandra Manguilli. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Family and friends are invited to meet directly at the All Saints Mausoleum, 700 Middletown Avenue, North Haven on Friday morning, March 10th at 10:00 to attend the committal services with full military honors, with the Rev. Timothy Meehan officiating. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929.
