Carol Raymond Vollano, 61, of North Haven, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at her home. She was the beloved wife of 36 years to Anthony Vollano. Carol was born in New Haven on September 9, 1959 and was the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Phoenix Raymond. She had worked as a Senior Administrative Assistant at Yale University for many years. Carol enjoyed Hallmark movies, Christmas and animals, especially her dogs Jack and Zeus. Most of all Carol enjoyed spending time with her family who she loved unconditionally. Mother of Toni (Tyler) Vollano-Morrison and Mathew (Amy) Vollano. Step-mother of Anthony Vollano Jr., Joseph Vollano Sr., Michele Vollano, Susan Vollano and Paul Vollano. Grandmother of Janessa, Kaylee, Dawson, Christopher, Joseph Jr., and Tucker. Also survived by her brother David (Jackie) Raymond and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be privately held.
An extraordinary woman. Blessed the lives of everyone she knew. Truly an angel on earth who will be missed by so many.

Carol would often sit outside our office for Yale Development at 157 Church ST in a beach chair and always had a wave and smile for me and everyone else. This is a shock and I hope everyone can remember their own good thoughts and memories of Carol for comfort.
I worked with Carol at Yale I will always remember her sweet way and kind eyes. My thoughts go out to her family. Many blessings during this terrible time.

I especially loved how much a great help she was to me in the office whenever I asked her to help me with something I was working on, she was always there in the office doing lots of work. I will miss her friendship and her kindness always. I LOVE YOU CAROL 💘
