Catherine B. Broggi Leach, 95, of North Branford passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 21st, 2023 at the Guilford House with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of the late Gerald J. Leach. Catherine was born in North Haven on June 21, 1927 and was the daughter of the late Russell and Mary Pivirotto Broggi. Catherine enjoyed working for various stock brokerages and made many life-long friendships throughout her career. She most of all loved spending time with her family, connecting with her many nieces, nephews, cousins, their families and sharing life with them. Loving aunt of Thomas C. Kelleher, Edward J. Kelleher (Kimberley), the late David J. Kelleher, Clifford G. Leach (Thea), Paul Leach, Craig J. Leach (Sandy) and Mary Leach Krauszer (Kris). Beloved great aunt to Amanda, Alexis, Lydia, Erin, John, Abby, Matthew, the late Christopher John Kelleher and many other great nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. We would especially like to thank the people at Guilford House who became her G-House family. She loved so many there who gratefully went above and beyond delivering her healthcare while being her friend. We are all sad to see her go, but lucky to have had her for the length of time that we did.The visiting hours will be Wednesday, Jan. 25th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A service will be conducted in the funeral home at 12:00. Interment will immediately follow in Montowese Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
