Beatrice Carafa Testa, 86, formerly of Wallingford and North Haven, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the Skyview Center, Wallingford. She was the beloved wife of the late Savino David Testa. Beatrice was born in New Haven on September 24, 1929; daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Altieri Carafa; had worked for Consignment Originals for many years; enjoyed going to flea markets and ballroom dancing. Mother of Diane Manguilli (Dennis) and Gail Mills. Grandmother of Dennis Manguilli, Jr., Gina Moran, Tara Boisjolie (David), Stephen and Joseph Mills. Great-Grandmother of Taylor, Gavin, Tyler and Gianna Boisjolie, Christopher, Nicholas, Brian and Michael Moran, and Barrett Mills. Predeceased by a brother Thomas Carafa.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Monday morning at 11:30. Family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:30 am. A Mass of Christian burial will follow in St. Frances Cabrini Church at 12 Noon. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
