Charles Anthony Valentino, 74, of Manhattan, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital, New York City. He was the husband of Roberta Malazzi Valentino. Charles was born in New Haven on February 11, 1947; son of the late Mattio and Jennie Massaro Valentino; he grew up on his family farm; graduated from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, the first in his family to earn a college degree; married for 51 years until death; worked as a CPA, then in commercial real estate for nearly 50 years; was a devout Christian and member of Times Square Church; was an avid Boston sports fan; tremendously devoted father and husband. Father of Jeffrey (Jodi) Valentino of Kildeer, IL, Scott (Aubree) Valentino of Kailua, HI and Mark (Jennifer) Valentino of Redondo Beach, CA. Brother of Matteo Valentino of North Haven, CT and Richard Valentino of Wallingford, CT. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
