Charlotte F. Wszolek Gorman, 87, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Monday, Feb. 6, 2023, at Connecticut Hospice, Branford, with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 63 years to Raymond Gorman. Charlotte was born in New Haven, on Dec. 25, 1935, and was the daughter of the late Thaddeus and Irene Siemiatkoski Wszolek. She had worked as a hematologist at St. Raphael Hospital for many years. Charlotte sang in the choir at St. Barnabas and was involved in the Mother Circle in North Haven. She enjoyed singing and watching the UConn women’s basketball. She was the mother of Greg (Anne) Gorman, Michael (Kelly) Gorman and Brian Gorman; grandmother of Danielle, Sydnie and Emely; and great-grandmother of Benjamin and Olivia; and sister of Thaddeus Wszolek and the late Cecilia Zubal.
Family and friends are invited at 10 a.m. on Tuesday morning, Feb. 14, to go directly to the Church of the Resurrection, 115 Pond Hill Road, Wallingford to attend a Mass of Christian burial; and are also invited to attend the Committal Service immediately following in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Connecticut Hospice, Inc., 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405. The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, have been entrusted with the arrangements.
