Christopher F. Motzer, Jr., 82, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 18th, 2021 at his home with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 54 years to Cheryl LaCroix Motzer. Chris was born in Yonkers, New York on April 19, 1939 and was the son of the late Christopher F. Motzer, Sr. and Beatrice R. Symer Motzer. He had served in the Army National Guard. Chris loved his job working in the construction industry and drove a 100-ton Caterpillar for 20 years at Tilcon. A kind, calm, gentle man, Chris enjoyed snowmobiling in Vermont, driving his Corvette especially to local car shows, but most of all spending time with his family who he loved unconditionally. Father of Christopher Motzer III (Kyle), Cheryl Raffone (Louis, Jr.) and Peter Motzer. Grandfather of Gabrielle, Louis III, Marissa, and Joseph Raffone, CJ and Joshua Motzer. Brother of John Motzer (Margaret) and Kathleen White.
The visiting hours will be Wednesday, Sept. 22nd from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Service will be conducted at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family
I love you pop, you were such a great grandfather to me. I’ll never forget the times we would go to the car shows and look around at all the amazing cars together. You will be missed❤️
