Lou, We are so sorry for your loss. Claire was such a warm caring person and we are so privilege to have know her.
We are sorry we didn’t know Clarissa but still want to thank her for her time and effort to the cares of Lake Amston residents, seasonal as well as permanent. Thank you, sincerely, Mary, Mike and family
Over the past few years I had the pleasure of working with Claire during the summers at Amston Lake. She had a heart of gold and was an asset to the community. She is truly missed.
Every year, when I went to the clubhouse, Claire would tell me that she wanted some more of my books. Alas, she never came for them. Such a wonderful lady. Does any one know the address of heaven.
Although we didn’t know Clarissa we have a lot in common. We are Hamden winter residents and I taught at Hamden High School before retiring. For the past 48 years we have spent our summers at Amston Lake and our 6 kids enjoyed that time. Now our grandchildren (11) also enjoy the lake. We probably never cross paths cause we are on the Lebanon side. It is sad to lose someone who is vibrant and a wonderful volunteer. God bless her.
