Concetta B. “Tina” Bonora, 87, formerly of Hamden, Guilford, Branford, and Durham, Connecticut, and Cape Coral, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 8, 2021, at Water’s Edge Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Middletown. She was the beloved wife of 56 years to the late Joseph J. “Joe” Bonora. Tina was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 20, 1934, and was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Rosa Favazza Lenzo. She grew up in a large, loving family with two brothers and four sisters. Tina was a devout Catholic, who was cherished for her generosity, caring nature, and countless prayers. Tina valued meaningful times spent with her family and friends and welcomed all into her home. Her work experience, including insurance, banking, retail, teaching, and owning an ice cream store, was eclectic in nature and reflected her versatility. Tina’s kindness significantly impacted many of her family and friends. She was the proud mother of Ellen (Robert) D’Amore of Durham, Roseann (John) Keris of Porter Ranch, CA, and Victoria (Daniel) Ardito of East Haven. She leaves adored grandchildren, Cynthia D’Amore, Deanna (Cliff) D’Amore-Neto, Kyle (Katrina) Keris, Michael Kopjanski and Amanda (Nicholas) Lussier, five great grandchildren, and many other treasured family members of the Lenzo and Bonora families.

Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven on Tuesday morning, November 16th at 10:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal service immediately following in the All Saints Mausoleum.
