Concetta Caponera Mastriano, 86, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Apple Rehab- Laurel Woods, East Haven. She was the beloved wife of 66 years to Louis R. Mastriano, Jr. Concetta was born in New Haven on March 4, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Philomena Vollano Caponera. Mother of Deb Vissicchio, Louis (Cindy) Mastriano and Michael (Cheri Bragg) Mastriano. Sister of Josephine (John) Horvath and the late Olympia Rosa. Also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The visiting hours will be Saturday morning, August 12th from 9:30 to 11:30 at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
I grew up living next door to Mrs. Mastrianno ‘s mother, Philomena. Our families were very close and she and her family are a huge part of my childhood memories. To Mr. Mastrianno, Debbie,Louis and Michael you have my deepest sympathies.
