Craig W. Fassett, 48, of New Haven, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Antonietta DiBenedetto Fassett for 28 years and an exemplary Father of Giovanni Fassett, Anthony Fassett and Connor Fassett, raising them to be strong young men. Craig was born in New Haven on September 29, 1969 and was the son of Rita Murphy Fassett and the late Charles D. Fassett. He enjoyed working as a Senior Materials Manager at Watson Inc. for the last ten years, making them a second family. Craig was on the committee as an Inner Guard of the New Haven Elks Lodge 25. He was an avid New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox’s fan, never missing a game. On the weekends he loved working on home projects with his family and enjoyed traveling with his wife. Craig was also well known for having a big heart and always helping whoever, whenever he could. Brother of Christopher Fassett, Charles (Evelyn) Fassett, Ronald (Allison) Fassett, Kai Fassett, Chad (Melissa) Fassett and the late Clint Fassett. Son-in-law of Giovanni and Barbara DiBenedetto. Brother-in-law of Fred and Denise DiBenedetto. Uncle of Sarina and Marco DiBenedetto. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The visiting hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8pm and the funeral service will be conducted on Friday morning at 11:30 at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue

I work with Craig. We both started on the same day at Watson Inc. He was always very helpful with me giving me the right information to do my job. We could always just chuckle walking by each other.
