Tyler Brandon Gianakos, 25, of Wallingford formerly of North Haven passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015 at his home. Tyler was born in New Haven on July 16, 1989; beloved son of Brooks Gianakos and Maura O’Brien Gianakos; was a 2007 North Haven High School graduate; a graduate of SCSU where he earned his Bachelor’s degree and was the co-owner/manager of Chick-Lets, New Haven. Tyler had played Max Sinoway Baseball and on the North Haven All Star Team; loved music; was an avid NY Jets and NY Yankees fan. Beloved brother of Layne A. Gianakos. Loving grandson of Jerry and Linda Gianakos, Eugene O’Brien and the late Margaret “Peggy” O’Brien. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Thursday evening at 8:00. Family and friends may call Thursday from 4:00 pm until time of service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
