Daniel Mazzoli, Sr., 90, of Northford, Connecticut, passed away on May 26, 2023, in East Haven. Daniel was born in New Haven on May 13, 1933, son of the late Domenico and Esterina Serfilippi Mazzoli. He was the husband of the late Angela Gravante Mazzoli. Mr. Mazzoli was the father of Barbara Jean (George) Lennon, Richard D. (Bernadette) Mazzoli and Daniel Mazzoli, Jr., and the grandfather of Bridgette (Steve) Jreige, Steven (Caitlin) Lennon, Dominic (Hannah) Mazzoli, Joseph (Audrey) Mazzoli, Monica (Tom Kelly) Mazzoli and Angelia Mazzoli. He was the great grandfather of Giacomo, Charlie, Kalil, Rose, Gavin, Nora, Calum, John, Violet, and Avery. He leaves behind his sister’s-in-law Carol (George) Mattie, Angela S. Mazzoli, brother-in-law, Richard Imperati, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He was predeceased by sisters and brothers, Ida Vernon, Mary Grestini, Frank Mazzoli, and George Mazzoli.Daniel attended primary school in New Haven and completed his secondary education at Hillhouse High School in 1951. He also attended Quinnipiac College. Mr. Mazzoli was owner/operator of several General Contracting businesses during his 50-year career serving Southern Connecticut. He loved music, dancing, spending winters in Florida, and visiting Disney on a regular basis with his wife. Also, he enjoyed an occasional golf game with his children and grandchildren.
