Danielle M. D’Amora Thorpe, 50, of New Haven, passed away on Saturday, November 13th, 2021, at her home. Danielle was born in New Haven on June 11, 1971, and was the beloved daughter of Gary and Gail DePaola D’Amora Sr. She graduated from North Haven High School, class of 1989 and worked as a nurse’s aide for many years. Loving and devoted mother to John Thorpe (Natasha). Beloved sister of Gary D’Amora, Jr. (Ashlie) and Lindsay D’Amora (Paul). Also survived by her 3 nephews, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Predeceased by her grandparents Frank and Mary D’Amora, Joseph DePaola, and Lucy Ucci.
The visiting hours will be Wednesday, November 17th from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Saint Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at Saint Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue, North Haven at 12:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 20 Batterson Park Road, #302, Farmington, CT 06032.
