Debra (Debbie) Castellon, 58, passed away on Sunday May 30th. Debbie was born May 10th, 1963, in the city of New Haven, CT. She was the daughter of Bill and Judy Castellon. She graduated from North Branford High School and later GalMar Academy, where she studied to become a hairdresser. Debbie enjoyed cheering for the New York Yankees and attending sporting events for her niece and nephews. Debbie loved hip hop and 80s music and could always be found dancing. Debbie will always be remembered for her larger than life, outspoken personality. Besides her parents, Debbie is survived by her twin sister Michele Castellon Melaccio, brother Michael Castellon, brother-in-law David D’Agostino, niece Tara Melaccio, nephews Josh Melaccio, Aaron, and Evan Castellon, uncle Ralph Castellon, and aunt Marianne Deflice Castellon. She will be missed by many cousins and friends.
The visiting hours will be Monday, June 7th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Family and friends are invited to go directly to the Northford Congregational Church on Tuesday morning, June 8th at 10:00 to attend a funeral service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook Street, I-91 Tech Ctr. #3, Rocky Hill, CT 06067, or the Northford Congregational Church, 16 Old Post Road, Northford, CT 06471.
