Delores Ann DelChairo Ambrose, 72, of Meriden passed away peacefully on Monday May 1, 2017 at Midstate Medical Center, Meriden. She was the beloved wife of the late Chester S. Ambrose. Delores was born in New Haven on August 27, 1944; daughter of the late Gabriel and Mary Stagni DelChairo. Delores was a homemaker. Family was very important to her and her greatest joy was the time she spent with her grandson. Her husband was her best friend and she is resting peacefully with him now. Mother of David Ambrose and Laurie Ambrose Mallette. Mother-in-law of Marta Ambrose and the late Philip Mallette. Loving grandmother of Matthew David Ambrose. Sister of Elaine Ainsworth, Dennis and Glen DelChairo.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Friday morning at 11:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 9:30 until time of service.
