Dennis Anthony Granata, 71, of North Haven, Connecticut, passed away on January 31, 2023 surrounded by his family. Dennis was born in New Haven, Connecticut on August 22, 1951, son of the late Alexander and Angelina Granata. He is survived by his best friend and beloved wife of 49 years, Jean Granata. In addition to his wife, Dennis is survived by his son Christopher Granata and his wife Jessica of North Haven, his son Nicholas Granata and his wife Lisa of North Haven, his daughter Alyssa Granata-Basso and her husband Marc of Southington, and his beloved four grandchildren, Joshua, Jack, Lila, and Nathan. He was predeceased by his sister Alexis Clark. Dennis enjoyed the simple things in life and encouraged those close to him to do the same. In his words “simplify” was the way of life. He was a family man, and put those he loved above all else. He cherished spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and his grandpups Fitch, Winnie, and Sophie. Dennis was also an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan.
