Rose Mary Lenoce Saldamarco, 94, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the Masonicare Health Center, Wallingford with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony P. Saldamarco. Rose Mary was born in New Haven on October 11, 1921; daughter of the late Joseph and Rose DeFeo Lenoce; was a graduate of East Haven High School and the former Collegiate Prep; was a USO Hostess during WW II; worked for ten years for the US Government at the Community Chest, the US War Production Board, US Army Air Forces Material Command and later for the Internal Revenue Service as a clerical worker for 8 years. Mother of Peter Saldamarco and Diane Valentino. Mother-in-law of Sally Saldamarco and Thomas Valentino. Grandmother of Anthony Saldamarco, Michael (Lauren) Saldamarco, Christina (Joseph) Tatta, Thomas, Jr, Felicia and Robert Valentino. Great-grandmother of Sophia, Petey, Nicholas and Daniella. Sister of Ralph Lenoce and the late Joseph Lenoce. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Saturday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Saint Barnabas Church at 10:00 am. Interment will follow on All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 pm. Should friends desire, memorial contribution may be made to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook Street, 1-91 Tech Ctr. #3, Rocky Hill, CT 06067
Dear Mike and Lauren, So sorry for the loss of Mike's grandmother. I only met her a few times but she was a very sweet lady.

Peter and Diane and families and of course Ralph. My deepest sympathy to all. I had the pleasure of seeing her when she came to mass with Ralph at St. Therese Church. Lovely lady that I've known all my life being she was my mom's first cousin and my second.
