Dolores Margaret Krebs Macy, 83, of East Haven, formerly of Hamden, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 8, 2024, at Yale New Haven Hospital/St. Raphael Campus.  She was the beloved wife of 51 years to the late Ronald Macy.  Dolores was born in New Haven on April 5, 1940, and was the daughter of the late Harry and Mildred Crowther Krebs. She was a 1958 graduate of Wilbur Cross High School.  Dolores worked as a bookkeeper for Walgreens in North Haven for 23 years.  She was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching golf, baseball, and football.  Dolores was a devoted fan of the New York Yankees, the New England Patriots and loved Tom Brady.  Dolores enjoyed trips to the beach, reading, and bowling in her women’s league.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family who she loved unconditionally.  Mother of Janet Dottori (John) and Linda Macy (Shane Pepin).  Grandmother of Amanda Roberts, Christina Mickolyzck (Joseph), Kyle Frizell (Sarah Muise), Zachary Keller (Fiancé Autumn Chappell), Gianna Appi(Carlos Santiago Prado), and the late Thomas Frizell Jr. and Nicole Frizell.  Great grandmother of Natalie Criscuolo and Harper Mickolyzck. Sister of Mildred Coady and the late Kenny and Wes Moore, Pearl Shultz, Carlton Krebs, John Krebs, and Carol Ripley.  Also survived by her step grandson Matthew Twaroski, sister-in-law Gloria Martino, many nieces, and nephews.  The visiting hours will be on Monday, January 15th from 4 to 7 PM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue.  Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 355 Foxon Road, East Haven on Tuesday morning, January 16th  at 11:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal service immediately following in All Saints Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O.
