Donald G. Burgh, Sr., 51, of North Haven, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at his home. He was the beloved husband of 28 years to Adrienne Ney Burgh. Donald was born in New Haven on April 6, 1967 and was the son of Josephine Costa Burgh and the late Donald T. Burgh. He was a graduate of Hamden High School and Union Trade School. Donald had worked as a Plumber/Pipe Fitter for the Union Local #777 for many years. A “Jack-Of-All-Trades”, Donald enjoyed fishing, boating, cooking, landscaping around his home but most of all he enjoyed being with his family especially his granddaughter who was the “Light of His Life”. Don was a very good friend to those closest in his life and looked forward to sharing times and talks with them. Father of Donald G. Burgh, Jr. (Lauren Kellaher), Jocelyn and Amy Burgh. Grandfather of Hailey Taborda. Brother of Robin Ann Cichocki and Carla Miller (Charles). Son-in-law of Carolyn Ney and the late Phillip Ney. Also survived by special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his brother-in-law Joseph Cichocki and his godfather Carl Costa.
His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue on Saturday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Therese Church at 10:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 pm
