Donna E. Phoenix Idarola, 63, of North Branford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at her home with her family by her side. Born in New Haven on October 25, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Maurice R. and Pearl Metcalfe Phoenix. Donna loved her family, friends, and animals. Everyone was always met with a smile and a big hug. She also loved to make you laugh and was a volunteer for the American Legion. Mother of Michelle Idarola, Michael (Nicole) Idarola and Anthony (Jamie) Idarola. Loving grandmother of Brianna and Trevor Green, Sophie, Jack and Ava Idarola. Sister of Sheryl and Darlein Phoenix and the late Sharon Agro Boliver. Donna is also survived by the father of her children and friend Anthony J. Idarola and her partner Richard Paprocki. Also survived by many neices and nephews.
The visiting hours will be on Thursday, Nov. 4th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A service will be conducted at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter, 11 Cherry Hill Road., Branford, CT. 06405.
