Dorothy H. Schetzel Chouinard, 88, of 22 Masonic Avenue, Wallingford formerly of Manomet Avenue, North Haven passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 19th, 2022, at Masonicare Health Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Maurice A. Chouinard. Dorothy was born in New Haven on June 26, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Henry and Grace Bollwinkel Schetzel. She was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church of North Haven. Mother of Nancy (Richard) Scuderi, Paul Chouinard and Susan Iannone. Grandmother of Andrew Scuderi, Matthew and Miranda Iannone Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Ann Chouinard and a sister Marie Emmerman.
The visiting hours will be Thursday morning, June 2nd from 9:00 to 10:30 at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A funeral service will be conducted in St. John’s Episcopal Church at 11:00 AM. Interment will be privately held in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CT Food Bank, 2 Research Pkwy, Wallingford, CT 06492.
