Mary Diana Nuzzo, 91, of East Haven passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford. She was the beloved wife of the late Dominic Nuzzo. Mary was born in New Haven on July 18, 1925; daughter of the late Philip and Jenny DelVecchio Diana, Sr. Dominic and Mary met while working at New Haven Clock Shop; she later worked for the former A&P Grocery Stores until her retirement; was a member of the Ladies Guild at Our Lady of Pompeii Church. Predeceased by her brothers, Louis, Nicholas and Philip, Jr. and sisters Anna Solli, Theresa Hill and Julia Nargi. Survived by several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Tuesday morning at 9:30. Family and friends may call from 8:30 to 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Barnabas Church at 10:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
