Christine Marie Gallo, 39, of New Haven formerly of Stamford and North Haven, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at her home. Christine was born in New Haven on December 1, 1975 and was the beloved daughter of Retired East Haven Police Chief Leonard L. Gallo and Barbara Rakiec Gallo. She was a 1993 graduate of North Haven High School, had attended Western Connecticut and Southern Connecticut State Universities, and had worked as a Practice Manager for the Graef Financial Group Association with Lincoln Financial Advisor. Christine, a Series 6 also earned a Para planner Certification from the College of Financial Planning, and in 2010 she graduated the Event Management Program at New York University. Christine enjoyed yoga, hiking, being with friends, traveling, reading, and art and was an avid painter. Beloved sister of Stacy Bowery and her husband Thomas. Loving aunt of Jack and Alex Bowery. Beloved granddaughter of Mary Rakiec. Also survived by her dog Roman.
Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue, North Haven on Wednesday morning, April 1st at 10:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal services immediately following in All Saints Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours.
