Yvon “Frenchy” Bolduc, 77 of North Haven passed on Nov.5, 2016, surrounded by his loving wife and children, at the Masonic Health Care in Wallingford after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Husband to Gisele Bolduc for 56 years. Born Feb.20, 1939 in Thetford-Mines, Quebec, Canada to the late Maurice Bolduc and Jeanne D’Arc Lessard. In addition to his wife he is survived by his three children, Donna (Ralph) Giordano, Brigitte Bolduc and Robert (Donna Capozzo) Bolduc, five grandchildren, Justin Giordano, Megan, Edward, Jamie Gosney, Jacques Bolduc and great granddaughter Audrey Skowronski. He also leaves brothers Gilles and Claude Bolduc of Quebec and was predeceased by his brother Alain Bolduc of Hamden.  A talented drummer as a young man in a Jazz band in Canada, then after arriving in New Haven, his spirit for adventure brought him into the arena as a professional wrestler. As a business entrepreneur, he was a co-founder of New Haven Dry Wall and other businesses in CT & Canada. Also, founder of Boldwood Interiors which continues to be a local family operated business. As an active community member, he was a Mason of Corinthian Lodge No.63, a Fourth Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus, held Man of the Year title for the North Haven Rotary Club and was a member of the Yankee Clipper club and the Waucoma Yacht Club.  The family would like to thank the staff of Wooster Two at Masonic for their care and compassion to Frenchy over the past years.

His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Wednesday morning, Nov. 9th at 10:30. Family and friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian burial will follow in St. Barnabas Church at 11:00.
