Michael F. Gallipoli, 40, of North Branford, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Yale- New Haven Hospital. Beloved husband of Kelly Rivard Gallipoli. Born in New Haven on February 9, 1974; son of Vanessa Pongetti Gallipoli and the late Scott Gallipoli. He worked as a computer technician for Northrop Grumman and enjoyed playing in several bands throughout his 20s and 30s. Michael was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandson, nephew and son-in-law, who was loved by all. Loving father of Savanah and McKenna Gallipoli, Alyssa and Jesse Walters. Brother of Scott (Lisa) Gallipoli. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Thursday morning at 10:30. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Family and friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gallipoli-Walters Children’s Fund, C/o TD Bank, 1289 Foxon Rd, North Branford, CT 06471.
