Edward Frederick Voccola, 84, of Durham passed away on Friday, May 20th, 2022 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Louise (Marylou) Fusco Voccola. Edward was born in Bridgeport on January 13, 1938 and was the son of the late Edward and Genevieve Roberti Voccola. He served his country faithfully in the US Navy. Edward earned a B.S. in Economics from the University of Connecticut and had worked for the US Postal Service for many years until his retirement. Edward loved summertime and warm weather, watching television and following politics, but most of all spending time with his true love Mary and his family who he loved unconditionally. Father of Greg Voccola, Kenneth Voccola, Carol Voccola and Carol’s husband Mark Wogahn. Grandfather of Gregory, Brandon, Hunter Gage, Rebecca and Alyssa. Predeceased by his two younger brothers Arthur and Richard Voccola.
