Elijah Zaire Luciano, 10, of Northford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Yale New Haven Hospital with his family by his side. He was born in New Haven on October 12, 2013, and was the son of Yarimar Gonzalez and the late Zaire Luciano. Elijah loved watching cartoons, especially Super Wings . He enjoyed listening to Michael Jackson and his hit song “Beat It”. Elijah was a fun-loving boy; he had a great laugh that was contagious to all who were in his company. He will be missed by everyone, but never forgotten. Loving brother of Iziah Luciano. Grandson of Zaina and Jason Rodriguez , Raul Luciano and the late Nilsa Wade. Beloved nephew of Thalia Gonzalez, Esteban Gonzalez, Jason and Elena Rodriguez. Also survived by many cousins and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Elijah’s caregivers Alisha Love and Pindon Wong for their care and compassion over the years. To his barber Luigi for always making Eli handsome. A heart warming hug to Elijah’s best friend Daniel Bradley & Family. Also a special thank you to Totoket Valley Elementary School and their staff for always being so welcoming and kind to our angel.
The visiting hours will be Tuesday, January 30th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A service will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday morning, January 31st at 11:00. Interment will follow in the All Saints Mausoleum.

Eli was in my daughters class last year I remember when they they were getting a new student how excited all the students were.
