Elizabeth M. Giulietti, 86, of New Haven, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Yale New Haven Hospital, St. Raphael’s Campus with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 67 years to Dominic Giulietti. Elizabeth was born in New Haven on April 30, 1932 and was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Reynolds Moran. Elizabeth was very active in St. Peter’s Church for many years as catechism teacher and with Christian Young Organization. She enjoyed attending many events with her husband Dominic, especially those involving the Italian American Club. Mother of Joseph (Rebecca) Giulietti, James (Claudia) Giulietti, Donna (Frank) Martone, Dominic (Grace) Giulietti, Cindy (Doug) Griggs and Dawn (John) Minardi. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her sister June Giulietti and brother-in-law Concezio “Jet” Giulietti.
The visiting hours will be on Monday from 4 to 7pm at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home on Tuesday morning at 9:15. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Anthony’s Church, New Haven at 10:00. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Church, 70 Washington Avenue, New Haven, CT 06519.
