Elliott F. Fuller, Jr., age 74, of Beacon Falls, CT passed away at Waterbury Hospital on March 21, 2024. Born in Bridgeport on April 12, 1949, he leaves his cherished wife, Sandra (Witecki) Fuller, his loving children Amy (Ken) Gentile of North Haven and Eric (Lindsay) Fuller of Guilford and sister, Nancy (Don) Weldon of Alabama. He was predeceased by his parents, Elliott and Marion (Kanoff) Fuller and his sister, Arlene Jespersen. He also leaves his adoring and much-loved grandchildren, Mia and Ryan Gentile and Cameron and Lillian Fuller.

Elliott obtained his B.S. in Civil Engineering and worked as a land surveyor and civil engineer for over 40 years attaining both his professional engineering and surveyor’s license (P.E./L.S.) in Connecticut and his L.S. in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He worked at Northeast Utilities (Eversource) as a senior engineer for 20+ years and received the President’s Award for heading up the largest land sale in  the history of the company. His second career took him to the Town of Hamden where he became the assistant town engineer.   In addition to his passion for his career, Elliott also volunteered his time serving as the president of the Wallingford Little League for two years. In that brief span under his leadership, two more baseball fields were added for the players to enjoy for years to come.  After retiring, Elliott became involved in his 55+ community’s Board of Directors, serving for 6 years in that capacity, facilitating many projects utilizing his professional expertise. Elliott’s dedication to both his personal and professional endeavors is unmatched.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 30, at 4:30 p.m.with visiting from 2 to 5 p.m. at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, North Haven. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Elliott’s memory may be made to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation National Headquarters, Attn: Financial Operations, 733 Third Ave., Ste. 510 NY, NY 10017 or to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
