Mom (Mollie) was a wonderful wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt and friend to all. An accomplished seamstress, she worked for many years at Reese of New Haven. She was devoted to her large family and her many close friends at Reese. We will miss her so much. We love you Mom.
Cliff and Rosemary, so sorry to hear about your mother and mother-in-law.
Ro, I loved hearing the stories about your mother-in-law and your family up north.
Sometimes I felt like I knew them all.
She had a very long and happy life because her family loved her.
Mollie was one of the best aunts you could ever ask for. She was such a loving and caring woman. There wasn’t one bad bone in her body. I have so many memories with her that I always have and will continue to hold near and dear to my heart. She made me into the person I am today. I’ll continue to make you proud. This isn’t a goodbye, It’s a see you soon. I’ll see you soon Mollie, I love you.
Aunt Mollie, we have so many happy memories you were there every step of the way since birth. I was so fortunate to have you and Uncle Cliff for years. Our trips and fun times in Moodus during summer months and Lake George were the best.
Don ‘t ever judge anyone by size because you little lady could conquer us all. A hard working lady who loved her son and his family.
I will forever miss you but am so happy that you are now reunited with your Prince Charming where you always longed to be. I know you were dancing to your Autumn Leaves when you arrived.
It was a great run for you for 102 years. Now onto your new adventure. Soar through those gorgeous clouds my Angel for you were and are the wind beneath my wings. Yes, I did cry harder! I told you!
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-4
I am unfortunate in that I did not get the opportunity to meet Grandma Mollie, but I have heard many stories of what a sweet, wonderful and loving woman she was. I know she will be truly missed by all of those her life has touched.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. – Matthew 5:4
