Paul Joseph Mullen, 77, of Northford passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Sunday, July 31, 2016 with his loving family by his side at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved and dedicated husband to his high school sweetheart Beverly Kelly Mullen for 56 years. Paul was born in Hudson, MA on November 1, 1938; son of the late Patrick J. and Rose Ann Tyrrell Mullen. Proud father of: Brian, Deborah and Kathleen (Andrew Bozzuto) and dotting grandfather to Ashley, Kimberly, Nicole and Mathew Mullen, Amanda Maresca, Andrew and Adam Bozzuto. Brother to Margaret (Peggy) Crimmins and the late Peter Mullen and Mary Fracasse. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Paul proudly served his country in the US Army during the Cuban Missile crisis and had worked for Burndy Corporation for many years until his retirement.
Funeral Services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Thursday morning at 11:00 with the Rev. Timothy Meehan officiating. Family and friends may call from 9:00 until time of service. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
