Kathleen A. Cook Casey, 72, of Wallingford passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at her home with her family by her side.  She was the beloved wife of forty-two years to James A. Casey.  Kathleen was born in New Haven on June 27, 1942; daughter of the late John and Martha Piontek Cook.  Mother of Jennifer Casey, Brian Casey and his wife Veronica.  Grandmother of Emma, Tyler and Ryan Casey.  Sister of Diane Simkus and her husband Donald “Frank”.  Niece of Ann Kanoff.  Aunt of John Simkus and Donna Knapp.  Kathleen was a former Brownie Troop leader, enjoyed vacationing in New Hampshire and crocheting, had worked for First Bank, Precision Foods, an aide for the Wallingford School System and for Full Power Fitness.  Kathleen was a kind and caring woman devoted to her family especially her grandchildren whom she loved unconditionally

Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Saturday morning at 10:45.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in The Most Holy Trinity Church at 11:30.  Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.  The visiting hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 PM.  Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to The Most Holy Trinity Church Restoration Fund, 68 No. Colony Rd., Wallingford, CT  06492.
