Joan Marie Corsini Ferrie, 85, of Portland, formerly of New Haven passed away peacefully on Monday, February 29, 2016 at Apple Rehab, Middletown. She was the wife of the late Vincent E. Ferrie, Sr. Joan was born in New Haven on July 8, 1930; daughter of the late Joseph and Selma Frederick Corsini. Mother of Vincent E. Ferrie, Jr. (Donna), Joseph Ferrie (Lynne Cyr), Laura Mastroni (Michael), Richard Ferrie and the late Catherine and Robert Ferrie. Mother-in-law of Maria Ferrie. Also survived by nine grandchildren. Joan was a beloved mother and grandmother. She was predeceased by a sister and brother Shirley and Vincent Corsini.
Private funeral services has been entrusted to the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. There will be no visiting hours. Interment will be private in All Saints Cemetery.
