Cynthia M. Noa Soprano, 61, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of 36 years to James Soprano. Cynthia was born in New Haven on May 4, 1952; daughter of the late William D. and Dorothy Loughery Noa; she was co-owner of the former Permanent Arrangements of Hamden and later had worked as a Quality Control Technician for Ulbrich Shaped Wire for 18 years. Cynthia enjoyed reading, knitting, walks on the beach in Madison and Cape May; but most of all enjoyed her two grandchildren whom she loved unconditional and brought her so much happiness. Mother of Kristine (Todd) Ricci and James Noa (Kristen) Soprano. Grandmother of Madison Marie Ricci and Maxx Ryan William Ricci. Sister of Sherry (Arnold) Mikulski and Jaye (Guido) Chipy.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Friday morning 9:30. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Rita Church at 10:00. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. The visiting hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 pm.
