Rose Amendola SanMarco, 90, of West Haven, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at her home with her family by his side. She was the beloved wife of 68 years to Louis SanMarco, Jr. Rose was born in New Haven on August 23, 1926; daughter of the late Michael and Mary DePalma Amendola; she enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren. Mother of Marilyn (Bill) Fappiano, Rosemary Caruthers and Louis R. (Janice) SanMarco. Grandmother of Alissa Ebbson, Sean (Amber) Caruthers, Daniel (Nadine) Caruthers, Mallory and Kristen SanMarco. Great-Grandmother of Johnathan, Audrey, Avenlea and Violet. Sister of Larry Amendola and the late Andrew Amendola and Mary Camera. Also survived by her devoted caregiver Bernice.
Family and friends are invited to meet directly at St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue, North Haven on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 9th at 12:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal services immediately following in the All Saints Mausoleum.
