Linda A. Johnson McCue, 67, of Hamden passed away peacefully on Friday, April 3, 2015 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford. She was the wife of Thomas E. McCue. Linda was born in Waterbury on April 15, 1947; daughter of the late Charles and Leah Alston Gatling. She was a registered nurse; had worked as a paralegal for the State of Connecticut for 30 years until her retirement and was a member of the Hope Christian Church of North Haven. Linda was an avid gardener, enjoyed jewelry designing and painting. Sister of Patricia Alston, Kenneth Gatling and the late Angela Gray and James Johnson. Aunt of Joyce Swaine and Wendell Gray. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted in the Hope Christian Church, North Haven on Saturday morning, April 11th at 10:00. There will be no visiting hours. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hope Christian Church, 211 Montowese Avenue North Haven, CT 06473.
