Florence “Jelone” Redenti Behrend, 91, of Wallingford passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Hartford Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond J. Behrend. Jelone was born in New Haven on April 29, 1926 and was the daughter of the late Giro and Florence Redenti. She had worked as a bus driver for the Chieppo Bus Company. Beloved mother of Marc L. Behrend. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by four brothers and three sisters. Jelone enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles, slot machines and blackjack. “But deep in my heart everyone should have had the chance to be young and enjoyed the times of post war 1940’s and 1950’s, I sure did”
