Florence Marie Gormley, age 94, of Naples, Florida (former long-time resident of North Haven, CT) passed away May 29, 2021. She is survived by her loving daughters Patricia Ann Gormley of Naples, Florida; Janet Marie Gormley of Naples, Florida; and a son, Paul (Carol) Gormley of West Branch, Michigan. She was grandmother to Matthew (Kathleen) Gormley of Grayson, Georgia, and to Michelle (Michael) Killackey of Rose City, Michigan. She was great-grandmother to Haley Marie Gormley, Mackenzie Lee Killackey, and Mason Edward Killackey. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Francis Joseph Gormley in 2000.
Funeral services will be conducted in The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue on Saturday morning, June 5th at 10:00. Family and friends may call one hour prior to time of service. Interment will immediately follow at All Saints Cemetery. In her memory, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929.
I am so very sorry to hear about Flo’s passing. She will be missed dearly. I only have good memories to look back on her (and Frank too). They were the best neighbors—truly wonderful people when my brother and I were growing up. You are all in my thoughts and prayers!
Florence was such a proud and loving mother to her daughters and son, and in turn they were most loving to her all of her life. Rest in peace Florence.
