Frances Josephine DeMorro Campano, 83, of Hamden passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Frances was born in New Haven on January 27, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa Piccirillo DeMorro. She was a Marketing Researcher for Quinnipiac University Poll for ten years. Frances liked to be referred to as “Granny Franny”, enjoyed shopping and was known as a “Fashionista”. Mother of Donna (Charles) Forselius, Joseph (Diana) Campano, Marc (Linda) Campano, Lori (Kevin) Conway, Michael (Kari) Campano and the late Pamela Perrotti. Grandmother of Gina, Paul, Sean, Aimee, Taylor, Kristina, Kaitlyn, Leah, Gabrielle, Ava and Jack. Great-Grandmother of Joseph and Julian. Sister of Eugene DeMorro, Elizabeth DeMorro-Leahy, Alfred DeMorro and the late Howard Jack, Thomas and Robert DeMorro. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, on Friday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 10:00 Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 pm.
