Frances L. Ianotti Pesticci, 99, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 16th, 2023, at the Regency House, Wallingford. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert V. Pesticci. Frances was born in New Haven on July 17th, 1924, and was the daughter of the late Frank and Marie Ianotti. Frances enjoyed cooking, swimming, sewing, singing (she sang with the USO) and watching UConn Girls basketball. She was Past President of the Jolly Timers. Frances was a loving, caring person who lived for her family and friends. Mother of Albert F. Pesticci, Donna (Roy) Chappell, Mark (Jacquelyn) Pesticci and Joseph (Liliana) Pesticci. Grandmother of Matthew (Kara) Morcus, Sara and Anna Pesticci. Great grandmother of Annabella and Dominic Morcus. Sister of Rose DeMarco, Ann Bogart and the late Charles Ianotti, Raye Bradley, Helen Brown, and Josephine Parillo. Also survived by nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Frances’s caregivers Linda Burr and Louisa Widdows for the excellent comfort and care they provided.
The visiting hours will be Friday morning, October 20th from 9:30 to 11:30 at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929
