Francis William “Bill” Pawlikowski, 75, of North Haven passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022 at his home. He was the beloved husband of 48 years to Patricia “Patty’ (McGill) Pawlikowski. Bill was born in New Haven on October 20, 1946 and was the son of the late Frank Pawlikowski and Esther (Romanik) Pawlikowski Reiber. He graduated from Hamden High School and later served his country faithfully in the US Army during the Vietnam era. Bill worked as a chef at Yale University for many years until his retirement and did private catering for many professors and staff at Yale. He is survived by his daughters Rose Pawlikowski (Lida Gashi) and Sara Scasino (John). He was an adoring and loving grandfather of Elaina and Macy Scasino. He was a passionate soul. He loved to cook and nourish family and friends. He was an avid lover of knowledge, information, and education. Every morning, you could find him drinking tea and reading his newspapers. He will be remembered for his quick wit, sassy personality, and deep love of those of us lucky enough to know him. Bill loved cooking shows, fresh herbs, reading menus, animals, swimming in the ocean, fishing, Sleeping Giant, snowstorms and full moons. His passions will live on in our hearts and minds.
