Frank P. Criscuolo, 90, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 24, 2017 at the CT Hospice, Branford with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Antoinette Laudano Criscuolo for 68 years. Frank was born in New Haven on August 12, 1926; son of the late Venizio and Carmela Rogona Criscuolo; had worked for C&F Cheese for 20 years and later as a driver for Stop & Shop before retiring after 18 years; was a Teamster for Local #443; former member of the Annex Club Y.M.A of New Haven and St. Therese Men’s Club. He served his country faithfully in the US Navy during WWII on the USS Savanah. Father of Vivian (Nelson) Eddy. Grandfather of Tricia (Eric) DaCosta, Michael (Katie) and Stephen Eddy (Emily White). Great-grandfather of Gavin and Fiona Eddy and Eric DaCosta. Brother of Lawrence and Rose Criscuolo, Theresa DeFrancesco and the late Louis Criscuolo, Anthony and Santo Festa. Brother-in-law of Andrew (Mary Lou) Laudano, Marie Gambardella and Patricia (Carl) DiNello. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The family would like to offer a special thanks to his caregivers over the past few years especially Carmine, Laura, Tasha, Eddie and Patrina for all their compassionate love and care.
His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue on Wednesday morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Church of the Resurrection at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in the All Saints Cemetery. Family and friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, 06405.
