Frank S. Jablonski, 91, North Haven, Frank was born on May 8, 1931, in New Britain, CT to the late Ann (Dul) and Francis A. Jablonski.  He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut in 1954 and was hired shortly thereafter by Southern New England Telephone Company (SNET) working in the plant engineering department.  Having been called to duty, he served his country in the army on active duty from 1955 until 1957 and then in the reserves until 1963.   He retired from SNET as an area manager in 1994. Frank was an active member of St Frances Cabrini Church, serving in the men’s club and providing technical assistance for special events.  He was an early adapter with respect to personal computers and recycling.  Frank was appointed to the North Haven Inland Wetlands Commission and served as their Chairman in the 1980’s.  In addition to his concern for protecting the environment, he was also passionate about his work on North Haven Community Access Television (NHTV), where he served as president and hosted “Tech Talk”, a televised computer question and answer program.  Frank also loved his volunteer work with the Telephone Pioneers of America, serving as council vice president and then president of the Moris F Tyler chapter.  After retirement, he repaired talking books for the blind with the same chapter.  In addition to his wife, Bene’ (Langevin) Jablonski, Frank is survived by his sister, Carol (Richard) Fein of New Jersey, his three daughters, Robin Clark of North Haven, Denise (Eric) Schneider of Portland, CT and Debbie (Joseph) Carty of New Fairfield, CT, his five grandchildren, Corin “Corey” Henninger, Tristan Clark, Kelly and William Schneider, and Nicole Carty, as well as one great-granddaughter, Lilliana Henninger, several nieces and nephews and their children, all of whom he was very proud.

The visiting hours will be on Saturday morning, December 3rd at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, North Haven from 9:30 to 11:00 AM.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:30 in the Church of the Resurrection, 115 Pond Hill Road, Wallingford, and interment in All Saints Cemetery will follow.
