Frank V. Cofrancesco, 93, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 8th, 2022 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford.  He was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth “Liz” Sholl Cofrancesco.  Frank was born in New Haven on July 19, 1928 and was the son of the late Frank and Pasqualina DiLella Cofrancesco. He attended the former Southern Connecticut State College and the Paier College of Art, formerly of Hamden.  Frank had worked for his family’s business, Alton Truck Body & Trailer Service, Inc. of East Haven and was a Commercial Artist.  He was an avid golfer and a New York Yankee fan.  Stepfather of Eric Cohen (Marlene) and Lori Baker (Dennis).  Grandfather of Matthew Baker (Jill), Dan Baker (significant other Kiana Belanger), Kristin Kiczuk (Paul), Michael Cohen (Kerey), Greg Cohen, Amy Cohen (fiancé Justin Ray).  Great Grandfather of Tyler, Jake, Joshua, Madelyn, Emma & Kylee.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers, Anthony, Albert and Hugo  Cofrancesco, sisters Jenny Palmese, Theresa Vece, Matilda “Babe” Sullo and Ella Ragozzino.

The visiting hours will be Thursday, Feb. 17th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Church of the Resurrection, 115 Pond Hill Road, Wallingford on Friday morning, Feb. 18th at 10:00.  Interment will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the East Haven Animal Shelter, 183 Commerce Street, East Haven, CT 06512.
