Frank W. Hubbell III, born May 27, 1970, passed away suddenly on July 29, 2023, at his home on Marco Island, Florida. Frank is survived by his father, Frank W. Hubbell, Jr., his sister, Debra Seaquist, two nieces, Nicole Pavis (Jason) and Deanna Seaquist, as well as three grandnephews, Jason Pavis, Scott Pavis and Davion Smith, and two grandnieces, Kortney Pavis and Adalynn Lewis. Also, he leaves a dear friend, Barbara Brooks of Marco Island, Florida. He was predeceased by his mother, Frances Hubbell, his aunt Grace Swanchak, a niece, Kristen Seaquist, and a nephew David Seaquist. As a child Frank grew up in Short Beach. He was a resident of Branford and East Haven and lived in sight of Long Island Sound for most of his life. He graduated from Hamden Hall and attended the University of Connecticut where he majored in business and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. After working as a financial advisor for several investment firms, he served as Vice President at Fidelity Investments in Fairfield. Frank enjoyed sports and participated in baseball, football, and golf while at school. As a young man he competed in numerous iron man triathlons. As an adult, Frank spent many vacations at his parents’ retirement home in Florida and several years ago he moved to Florida and subsequently took up residence on Marco Island.
The visiting hours will be Monday, August 7th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven on Tuesday morning, August 8th at 10:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

It’s so sad to hear of Frank’s passing, I was shocked to hear the news. I’m glad now that I did have a chance to chat with him recently. My sincere condolences to Franks family , he will surely be missed and loved by many. Through his triumphs and trials, he lived and touched many lives and his family meant everything. His passion in the business world and peer lifting is impressive, his love of the beach and sunsets too. A great jokester, giving and loved trying new things. I will remember lots of things that warmed his heart and enhanced our island friendship , praying for his family to have comfort in the joys he brought and received . I will miss him very much.
