In the 1970s when I was a member of historical society, Gloria was an inspiration and so much fun to work with. She was delighted with the reproduction of a dress from the society’s collection I was able to produce. She never tired of praising my work and the work of so many other people. She works so hard to make the Historical Society successful. Not just successful, but a joy to be associated with. My prayers are with her family and her friends.
I will miss this sweet “Georgia peach” and her “Hi Ya all” on my voice mail. Gloria and I had many adventures back in the 70’s researching old records and deeds all over the state. Bruce and I had just bought our house and I was trying to do the title search. Gloria was always so knowledgeable when it came to history and I learned so much from her. The North Haven historical society was blessed to have her as its curator for many years and she will be greatly missed
Thank you for being my Mom for many years. You are the greatert grandma, too.
Love,
Kim
